I purchased my first pair of Golden Goose sneakers a few months ago (you might remember seeing them in a recent post), and received a number of questions about them since then. So many that I thought it was time for a full review! I\u2019ve also broken them in well that I can confidently speak to their craftsmanship, and a variety of other factors about them, which you\u2019ll find explored in this post.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n<\/p>\n<\/p>\n

Where did you buy them?<\/h2>\n<\/p>\n<\/p>\n

Cettire had them on sale and I took advantage right away!<\/p>\n<\/p>\n<\/p>\n

Placed my order on the 28th of April and they were delivered by the 30th, so the shipping was super fast which was a major plus<\/p>\n<\/p>\n<\/p>\n

How expensive are they?<\/h2>\n<\/p>\n<\/p>\n

When I bought my pair in April, I paid just under $390, but their regular price is over $500.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n<\/p>\n

Golden Goose sneakers typically cost anywhere between $400 to nearly $1,700, depending on how embellished they are.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n<\/p>\n

Are they true to size?<\/h2>\n<\/p>\n<\/p>\n

They ran true to size for me \u2014 I usually wear a size 6, and I went with a EU 36.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n<\/p>\n

They haven\u2019t stretched at all, so if you\u2019re in the middle, I\u2019d go up a size<\/p>\n<\/p>\n<\/p>\n<\/p>\n<\/p>\n<\/p>\n<\/p>\n

Are they comfortable?<\/h2>\n<\/p>\n<\/p>\n

They\u2019re extremely comfortable, and only took a few hours to break in..<\/p>\n<\/p>\n<\/p>\n

How durable are they?<\/h2>\n<\/p>\n<\/p>\n

Since they come pre-distressed, I didn\u2019t worry about getting them dirty. I\u2019ve worn them all over the city, and they still look great. The laces are intact, and the structure feels strong. Since the aesthetic is distressed, I can\u2019t even tell if there\u2019s new wear and tear.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n<\/p>\n<\/p>\n

Do they feel better than other shoes?<\/h2>\n<\/p>\n<\/p>\n

These are the best sneakers I own. I wear Vejas and Tretons too, but Golden Goose are just on another level. They have a hidden arch lift that adds just over an inch \u2014 making your legs look longer. Not to mention, they\u2019re not mass-produced, so each pair is custom-feeling. And the shine on mine? Stunning.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n<\/p>\n<\/p>\n

Are they worth it?<\/h2>\n<\/p>\n<\/p>\n

Totally! But I\u2019d recommend waiting for a sale. They\u2019re not cheap, so getting them with a promo is smarter. Still, I think they\u2019re worth a few hundred bucks, especially if you get a pair you love. Mine have pink glitter, but a neutral version would also look great.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n<\/p>\n
